Minimum Qualifications: •Any Bachelor’s degree or higher and two years of professional experience in the discipline OR Any Associate degree and six years of professional experience in the discipline OR The equivalent. Candidates not possessing the required qualifications as stated above must complete the supplemental page of the district application and explain in detail how their qualifications are equivalent to those above; OR Valid California community college instructor credential in appropriate subject issued prior to July 1, 1990 (per California Education Code 87355); AND All candidates must demonstrate: Evidence of a sensitivity, understanding, and ability to manage the classroom environment AND effectively provide instruction to community college students of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic background.
