| Minimum Qualifications: |
Possession of a current California State Board of Cosmetology LicensePossession of a current California Esthetician LicensePossession of any bachelors degree or higher AND two years of professional cosmetology/esthetics experience or any associate degree AND six years of professional cosmetology/esthetics experience OR the equivalent (see below)Demonstrated cultural competence, sensitivity to, and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, ethnic, neurodivergent, and LGBTQIA+ backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff as these factors relate to the need for equity minded-practice both within and outside of the classroom |
