SPECIAL SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:Five years' experience as a police officer, deputy sheriff, highway patrol officer or other equivalent law enforcement position. Experience may be substituted by B.A. degree.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Applicants must have worked in a law enforcement position for at least five years or completed a B.A. degree with related experience (law enforcement experience related to the academy). Applicants must be eligible to obtain Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Academy Instructor Course Certificate (AICC). |
